Chief of Staff (Mexico) 📒

Súper helps millions of Latin Americans buy their first insurance policy. We design super simple, super affordable, super easy to use insurance for people that (correctly!) don't trust the legacy insurance industry.

No adjusters, no negotiating, no deductibles. What you see is what you get.

We're well funded, backed by highly regarded USA-based VCs. We have a cool product that people want and that respects the customer. We're chill people that have done this before. We work with some of the best elixir engineers on earth. It's a cool place to work.

The Role:

As Chief of Staff, your primary responsibility is making sure that the Súper organization runs smoothly. Súper will more than triple in size in the next 18 months. Our product offering is expanding, and stuff is starting to fall between the cracks. Join a rocket ship and whip it into shape!

Examples of what you’ll work on

We’re still a small team. Many of these functions will eventually turn into their own departments: you’ll help coordinate those transitions.

  • Own OKRs & internal communication. Work with different departments to track and communicate company goals.
  • Project-managing cross-team initiatives.
  • Create interview/recruiting/onboarding processes so we don’t drop the ball.
  • Make sure external accountants and tax experts meet goals and produce accurate statements (local and consolidated)
  • Build tools for external accountants that accurately reflect the status of the business
  • Maintain external tools for bookkeeping
  • Manage paid and payable invoices
  • Think through our fiscal challenges and opportunities
  • Manage payroll and benefits

Requirements:

  • 2+ years management consulting at a top firm.
  • Exceptionally well organized with impeccable follow-through.
  • You’re ego-light.
  • Atypically versatile. Able to dive into many roles and do them well.
  • Extremely high energy. People describe you as a “machine” or a “force of nature”.
  • Entrepreneurial and scrappy. You hate bureaucracy.
  • Fluent English and Spanish.
  • Excellent written communicator.

Pay:

We pay tip-top of market for Mexico, and competitive everywhere.

Benefits:

Honestly, is there a benefit that really matters to you? Just tell us. The answer is probably "yes" as long as you're getting stuff done. That being said:

  • All of the benefits required by law (you'll be in "nómina")
  • Health insurance
  • Mandatory 4 weeks vacation per year.
  • Sponsored conferences if you're into that.
